Disconnect from your daily hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature in order to reconnect to yourself, your true nature, and your higher purpose. Allow us to do the planning, and support and guide you, so that you can fully realize the catalyst of nature on your inner life experience. We will spend some time in seated and moving meditation to access a peaceful space within ourselves, contemplate and journal on our higher purpose, experience the resonance of that purpose within the natural state of oneness that is inescapable while out in the mountains, and solidify that purpose while we hike and have an asana practice in the beautiful front ranges of the Rocky Mountains.
We will carpool ~1hr 45min out of Calgary and meet at the Cat Creek trailhead at 8AM. Our route will end on Hwy 541 1.9 km east of Highwood Junction at the entrance to a gated road on the north side of the highway. We will arrange a shuttle on site. We will plan to reach our destination around 5pm. This moderate to strenuous hike is 12 km. Average to good fitness and proper hiking boots are required. We will provide tea and a small snack for a tailgate debrief upon returning to the trailhead. This event will run rain or shine however length and objective may be adjusted due to weather and trail conditions.
